Planning the perfect Hen Weekend in Blackpool.

Updated: Jun 10

Hen parties take a lot of thought and planning to ensure they are the perfect weekend for the bride to be as well as being enjoyable for the hens.

You will need to consider the right location and accommodation as well as thinking of suitable hen do activities to keep everyone entertained.

As we are local to Blackpool we thought we would share our top things to do on a Hen Weekend in Blackpool.

In Blackpool there is accommodation to suit every budget, from budget B&B's to luxury hotels.

Here's our pick of the best places to stay in Blackpool on a hen weekend.

The Boulevard Hotel This is a brand new seafront property a stones throw away from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It's one of the nicer hotels in Blackpool and has a 4 star rating.

If there's a big group of you and you prefer to stay in a house or apt then check out DYSA Living They offer serviced accommodation in the centre of Blackpool.

The Village hotel in Blackpool is also a nice option for a girly weekend away, it has an onsite spa and gym and is close to the Blackpool Zoo and Stanley Park.

Traditionally Hen parties consist of lots of fun activities and partying and luckily Blackpool is one of the best places on the planet for hosting your hen party.

If you are planning a whole weekend away and looking for some nice day time activities then a Hen Party Afternoon Tea could be just the thing for you.

Afternoon tea is a lovely daytime activity and perfect if you're having a whole hen weekend!

It’s perfect for all age groups so friends, mums, aunties, sisters and daughters can all attend. And it can be a drinking or non-drinking occasion – champagne afternoon tea, anyone? During the tea you can play games such as a Mr & Mrs quiz (testing the hen on her knowledge of her other half) .

If it’s a sunny day why not pack a picnic blanket and head down to the beach and enjoy Afternoon Tea on the beach?

Our Afternoon Tea's come delivered to you on a 3 tier cake stand with a fitted, themed cloche, this makes your afternoon tea easy to transport and also keeps it fresh.

If the sand and wind put you off picnicking on the sea front try our lovely Stanley Park instead. Stanley Park is another lovely picnic spot with formal gardens, a boating lake and a woodland area.
